College & Career Connections' mission is to effect a radical transformation in the aspirations and capacity of youth from Washington DC's low-income communities to graduate from high school and pursue higher education.

CCC in Action!

During the '09-'10 school year, CCC is facilitating college and career workshops weekly with 60 8th graders from The SEED School, bi-weekly with 150 9th graders from Cesar Chavez Public Charter School, Parkside Campus, and monthly with 150 6th and 7th grade students from Friendship Tech Prep. We will work with additional students during the spring semester, including 80 students from KIPP: KEY Academy's 7th grade class. Interactive, local college and career field trips reinforce concepts introduced in our workshops and help to make them tangible.
